To learn more about the advantages of a good user experience and the disadvantages of a bad experience, we recommend our presentation at c't from 2019: The ROI of a positive user experience.
A UX analysis makes sense if you can answer one or more of the following questions with yes:
- Do your customers (sometimes) say that content cannot be found on your site?
- Are you unable to organise your content in a meaningful way or assign it to categories and menu items?
- Would you like to improve something, but don't want to go to the trouble of a complete relaunch?
- Do you have the feeling that something is wrong with your site, but are unsure where exactly the problem might lie?
Our offer
Since we know that you have planned your time and budget elsewhere, this package includes a clear offer on our part: in 4 steps and in 4 weeks to more insights and concrete, directly implementable recommendations for action.
Services and result of the UX analysis
How we can help you gain more insights and recommendations for action in four weeks
Week #1 Getting started with concentrated expertise: It's all about goals, target groups and our kick-off meeting (remote)
You are experts in your industry - we are UX experts. These two perspectives on one thing result in the full UX power, so to speak: We need professional input from you and may question some things and/or provide our expertise from our perspective.
Before we meet for our kick-off meeting, we will therefore first provide you with a questionnaire that you can fill out at your leisure before the meeting. This will give us a first impression of the challenge you are facing before our meeting. In the subsequent online meeting, we will then discuss your goals in more concrete terms, e.g. what the site should and can do for your company and what you think visitors will come to your site with in terms of expectations and questions and what you think they should ideally do. In this way, we get to know your target group better and have also identified the most important areas of your online offering that we will focus on in the analysis.
Week #2 We analyse your site according to established criteria
Within a week, we use established standards - known as usability heuristics - to analyse the most important areas of your website and its content. We take a close look at the current status and document where there is potential for optimisation. In doing so, we never lose sight of your goals. The results are then moulded into a clear presentation.
Week #3 We develop ideas and suggestions for optimisation and potential
Over the next week, we will develop our ideas and suggestions for improvement using texts, storyboards and/or simple sketches (wireframes). These suggestions will help you to achieve your defined goals and better fulfil the needs and wishes of your visitors.
Week #4 Our final meeting with presentation of findings and optimisation proposals (remote)
In our final meeting, we present the findings and suggestions for optimisation and clarify questions from you and your team. You will then receive the results. In addition to very specific suggestions for improvement aimed at direct feasibility, the presentation can also serve as a guideline for future adjustments on your side, as it also communicates generally applicable principles that you can refer to at any time in the future.
Results and costs for a website analysis
- After just four weeks, you will have a clear and insightful guide to help you drive more traffic to your site and keep visitors on your site because they feel comfortable and well informed.
- In the best case scenario, this will increase enquiries and therefore also your company's turnover.
- You will also learn some principles that will help you to approach future developments - optimised for your users.
One-off costs
The UX analysis incurs a one-off cost of €2,500 (plus VAT).
The offer does not oblige you to continue working with us on the suggestions for improvement. You can then optimise the site yourself or with the help of another service provider.
