15 years ago, we founded "The Geekettez" (today BIRD UX) as one of the first studios in Germany focused purely on UX — because we had the vision of Pair Design in mind (an idea from Chris Noessel, analogous to Pair Programming). The principle: four eyes and two brains simply deliver better results.

With other experts by our side and drawn from our network, over all these years we've helped many wonderful companies and organizations create better experiences for their customers — and, in the process, made their internal workflows noticeably more efficient.

Now, after 15 years, we will be dissolving the company at the turn of the year 2026. Organizational reasons play a part, and beyond that, each of us has grown both professionally and personally. We now want to make that development visible on the outside as well — each of us with her own focus.

That's why the core idea behind it all remains, and BIRD lives on as a network. When the need arises, we'll continue to work together on projects — with our different areas of focus, which, as we've come to realize, complement each other very well.

What's next for us

Jennifer Moss offers Maturity-Minded Experience Design and Strategy for organisations and companies looking to improve their capabilities to think and design user-centred and benefit from that process. You can find her at trulyxd.com .

Stefanie Kegel supports companies in strategic discovery, evaluation, and risk foresight, combining UX with psychology to enable better-founded, lower-risk product decisions — and can be found at https://rrraw.studio/ .

We're grateful for the good, long-standing collaboration and the trust placed in our company, and we look forward to working together in the future in this new constellation! We're excited about what the future holds, and we're looking forward to it.
