The campaign was launched to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the GIG7 Competence Centre FeMale Business and aims to increase the visibility of female founders in the region. We think it's a wonderful idea and campaign, because #femaleempowermentmatters.
The GIG7 is one of three centres for female founders in Germany and we are lucky to have locations in two of the three cities that support the active promotion and networking of female founders and entrepreneurs through centres for female founders.

The name of our studio, The Geekettez GbR, was conceived in 2011 after a long day of presentations at SXSW, rather than in a very serious strategy meeting in a dusty food truck car park in Austin. Nevertheless, since then it has stood for values that are important to us as a studio: inclusive, polite and human design.
